Comparative study of Spanish and English syntax; advanced translation (Spanish to English) of texts from the humanities, social and political sciences, technical writing, advertising.

Prerequisites: graduate standing and SPANISH 707(P), or graduate credit in SPANISH 347(P), or consent of Translation Program Director.

Course Rules: Counts as repeat of SPANISH 717. Not open for cr to students w/ grad cr in SPANISH 447.
