SOCIOL 261 Introduction to Statistical Thinking in Sociology

3 cr. Undergraduate.

Introduction to basic statistical concepts and procedures and their selected application to sociological data. Covers both descriptive and inferential statistics.

Prerequisites: sophomore standing or higher or completion of a prior SOCIOL course; and satisfaction of GER Quantitative Literacy Part A requirement; or consent of instructor. Open to special students.
